social | We’re social people. We were built for relationships. Most of our best memories and experiences come from times when we were with family and friends, or when new friendships were formed. God is social as well. He created us and the world and interacts with us. He came to earth as one of us, to experience human life. Resurrection Youth Ministy knows how important relationships are and so one of our main goals is to provide an environment for you to be who you are and who God made you to be; and at the same time form and strengthen relationships with friends who will support and encourage you the rest of your life.

spiritual | There is something unique about you. When God created all creatures He was purposeful in creating us in His image and breathed into us to give us life. He loves us unconditionally. But there is so much in this world that tries to convince us otherwise. We want to be sure to provide plenty of opportunities for you to grow spiritually; Bible study, worship, devotions, prayer...and in all of these things God continually reminds us of Jesus Christ’s great love for us.

service | Christ is many things for us. The Living Word. The Shepherd. Our Brother, Teacher, and Friend. Our Savior. Our Servant. He is often referred to as the Suffering Servant, because He lived His life in service to us. Service happens when we combine Social with Spiritual, and we live our lives according to our faith which moves us to help other people who are in need. We humble ourselves, as Christ did, in service to one another.

As we participate in social, spiritual, and service opportunities we seek to live out the mission of Resurrection. Share the saving message of Jesus Christ. Care for those within and beyond our community. Prepare hearts and minds to live in faith. Dare to boldly live each day to the glory of Jesus Christ.

the main thing | Resurrection and its leaders are here for you. We don’t simply want to entertain, educate, or inform you of things. We want to walk and learn together. We want to share experiences that help all of us figure out our place in the world, and the meaning of our lives. We trust in God and His promises. We rely on the sacrifice of Christ and the salvation He won for us. We live through the Holy Spirit who guides us and empowers us to be the body of Christ. Through ups and downs, we love, forgive, and help one another just as Christ does for us.
